We reach the Kavaja district, where the stopping place is the Pa Emer campsite. This was probably the prettiest campsite we had visited in Albania.
A minor challenge was that the owners didn’t speak English, so it was a bit difficult to communicate.
The campsite was located right by the sea. An interesting feature was a small artificial island with a marina and a bar, which could be reached by a wooden bridge.

The island was on a sandbank, and you could also easily get to it by wading through the water.
We spent almost the whole day playing in the water. We missed that!
