When we came back from exploring the Holmenkollen Ski Jump Arena we were in the city center again. It was noon so we decided to go to the opposite side of the city to explore Ekeberg Hill. We saw a big building standing there and we found out that there was a school located up there.

We wondered how students could focus on learning when there was such a beautiful view from the window…

On the hill we found Ekeberg campsite. Maybe that will be one of our campsites on our Scandinavia road trip that we are planning?
This campsite is very child-friendly. We found a rope playground there which Kris liked a lot.

In the forest we found a “glass room”. You can go inside and watch yourself like in curved mirrors.

From the top of the Ekeberg hill you can see whole Oslo city. Great panorama and nice place to take a photo. One of the most famous paintings was painted here, it is “Scream” by Edvard Munch.
We came back to the city by a trail path used by runners.
