We reach the Kavaja district, where the stopping place is the Pa Emer campsite. This is probably the prettiest campsite we have visited in Albania.
A minor challenge was that the owners didn’t speak English, so it was a bit difficult to communicate.
This campsite is located right by the sea. An interesting feature is a small artificial island with a marina and a bar, which can be reached by a wooden bridge.
The island is located on a sandbank, and you can also easily get to it by walking by water.
We spent almost the whole day playing in the water. We missed that!
