Terme Čatež - a week in a mobile home by the pools

Is pool entry included when you stay in a mobile home at Terme Čatež? Yes: according to the resort, tickets to the Summer Thermal Riviera are included in the price of apartments and mobile homes. We spent a week there, from 4 to 11 August 2021.

From Hungary to Slovenia

From Sárvár we drove about 240 km. Terme Čatež is close to the Croatian border, next to the town of Brežice.

A mobile home instead of a tent

This time we didn't put up our tent. We were expecting our fifth child and simply wanted to rest, so we chose a mobile home with a terrace. We had lunch on the terrace and played cards there in the evenings. From a viewing deck above the resort we watched the sunset over the pools and slides.

Pools and water slides

For six days our routine was simple: breakfast, pools, lunch, pools. We spent most of the time at the colourful tube slides and at a wide slide with several lanes, where you can race each other. The younger kids swam with armbands in the shallow pools, and the older ones stayed at the slides all day.

Once we went shopping in nearby Brežice, but apart from that we didn't use the car.

• Pool entry: included for guests in the resort's mobile homes and apartments. A mobile home sleeps up to 6 (4+2) and has a terrace.
• Day ticket to the Summer Thermal Riviera if you stay elsewhere: adult 25 €, child 5-13 years 20 €, under 5 free with a parent. Online prices change from day to day.
